Tofu cheese

  • 1 block of tofu
  • 1 spoon (first cheese) or 1 cup of soya or other non dairy cream
  • 1 tsp of onion powder
  • 1 tsp of garlic powder
  • 1 tsp of salt
  • 4 tsp of agar agar

 Using a whole cup of soy cream makes it so much creamier and has a better taste, although it wasn't hard enough ... the first cheese on the other hand, I was capable to shred it and use it with chilli beans and other dishes. The only issue is that it doesn't melt like proper cheese :s 

How to make cheese
  1. Mix ingredients and blend
  2. Pour mix into a pot and heat for 5 minutes
  3. Pour into mold and let cool at atmospheric temperature
  4. Place in fridge for further hardening
