Vegan turkey deli

I found this recipe on Pinterest ... One of Maplespice posts ... Although I don't have any patience to cut the vegan turkey in small slices it turned out pretty good!! 

  • 1 cup of white cannellini beans washed and drained
  • 1 Tsp of olive oil
  • 1 cup of water
  • 2 Tsp of soy sauce
  • 1 tsp of Worcester sauce (vegan – check ingredients)
  • 3 Tsp of nutritional yeast
  • 1 tsp of onion powder
  • 1 tsp of thyme
  • 1 tsp of rosemary
  • 1 ½ cup of wheat gluten
  • 1 tsp of salt

How to make deli
  1. The original recipe used a mortar and pestle to make this … I went for simple and simply blended everything together until reaching a soft texture mix
  2. In a wooden box (asian round boxes), I place the mix wrapped in foil paper and steamed it for 1h
  3. After 45 minutes, switch on the oven at 180ÂșC
  4. 15 minutes after place the wrapped deli inside the oven and cook for 30 minutes
  5. Get it out and let it cool down

Cut and/or store it in the fridge for whenever you want to have a nice sandwich
